Two Simley Students Qualify for National Competition
Simley High School musical theatre and choir students attended Minnesota's International Thespian Society Conference over the Presidents Day weekend. While the students were there, two performed their musical theatre solos and qualified for the International Thespian Festival that will be held this summer.

Simley Principal Jerry SakalaSimley High School is a comprehensive secondary school with a student population of about 1,200 in grades 9-12. Simley is dedicated to excellence in academics, offering more than 230 required and elective trimester courses to allow students to design programs to meet their individual needs and talents.

Advanced classes are offered in mathematics, science, English, social studies, art and more. Simley students are able to select activities from a variety of athletic and fine arts programs. Special education services are available in the areas of learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, mildly/moderately mentally disabled, speech/language delays, and adapted physical education. Simley's award-winning Alternative Learning Program is a high school educational experience designed to meet the needs of students who are not successful in the traditional school setting.  more
