Activity Fees

Activity fees will be charged for students participating in activity programs sponsored by Independent School District 199. These fees are based upon the costs per participant in each activity.

Rules for the Fee Program

Any middle school student participating in a high school activity will pay the high school fee.

Fees may be waived in cases of undue hardship. The district activities director will determine hardship in each case and process all waiver requests.

Weight room fee of $80 paid during the school year can be deducted from an activity fee within that same school year.

A maximum of $290 per student per year is established. Two family members grades 6-12 maximum of $400, three or more family members grades 6-12 maximum $500.

The Activity fee must be paid prior to participation in a practice or a contest.

Refunds will be made prior to the time of the first contest or public appearance under the following conditions: when injury or illness prevents continuation; when a student transfers out of the school district; or when a student is cut from the squad by the coach.

Refunds will not be made to students becoming ineligible or who quit the activity.

Students who are members of high school athletic teams and pay the high school fees will be given a student pass for all home athletic events, with the exception of hockey, for the season in which they have paid a user fee.(Section, Region and State Tournaments are not included.)
